Every word FocusCrew uses on screen, and what it actually means.

Session: One block of focused time. You choose how long — 5, 25, 50 or 75 minutes — and it is finished when you press done or the time runs out. The server measures how long it actually ran, not your browser.
Pomodoro: The original name for a 25-minute focus block, from a tomato-shaped kitchen timer. In FocusCrew a pomodoro is just a session; the word shows up because a task counts how many of them it has taken.
Task: Something you are working on. Link it to a session and its completed count goes up when the session finishes. Optional — you do not have to name your work to do it.
Crew: A small group, three or four people, who focus around the same time most days. It is the point of the product: the timer works alone, but showing up is easier when someone else is.
Crew code: How you join a crew — a short code like FC-7QK2M9 that a member sends you. It skips the letters people mishear, so it survives being read out loud. Typing it in any case, with or without the dash, works.
Recurring window: The days and time a crew has agreed to meet — "weekdays at 09:00", for example. It is a declared rhythm, not an alarm; nobody is marked absent.
Challenge: A goal with a deadline. A personal one is yours alone. A crew challenge is one shared number the whole crew works toward, and everyone’s sessions count toward the same total.
XP: Experience points, earned by finishing sessions — one per completed minute. XP is only ever awarded by the server for work it measured, which is why nobody can give themselves any.
Level: What your total XP adds up to. Level 2 arrives at 100 XP, level 5 at 1,000, level 10 at 4,500 — each level a bit longer than the last. It is calculated from your XP every time it is shown, so it can never disagree with it.
Streak: How many days in a row you have finished at least one session. Two sessions in one day is still one day. Miss a day and it starts again at one — your longest run stays on your profile either way.
Standings: A ranking by XP, either inside your crew or across everyone. It shows positions and nothing else: no gap to the person above, no marker for last place, and only the top 50 globally.
Badge: A one-off marker for a milestone — your first session, a hundred hours of focus, seven days running. Badges you have not earned are shown too, so you can see what exists.
